We got record amounts of snow last night in Metro Detroit and I feel like a god for making it in. No traction control, no ABS. Heres a song that came on the radio last night, and I decided is perfect for driving a Jeep through deep snow.

On snow days having the early morning work is always the best. This way of the roads are bad you go at your own pace, and if you get stuck you just dig out with noone around haha.

exactly. I left maybe 15 minutes early, and got in right on time.

I left around half past 4 this morning, I stayed at a buddies way out in the bush due to last nights game. I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't fall back asleep so I decided "meh may as well get this day started" lol.

Here in NE Ohio, I broke my ice scraper this morning. We only got about 7" or 8" yesterday, but it warmed up last night and turned to rain, then that froze.

that sucks. I would rather have the deep snow than lots of ice.

Me too...though I'm really getting soured by all the snow as I get older. Oh well...

thats why I have a Cherokee for the snow, and a car for the summer. I just brush off the windows and drive over everything. I have never had to dig myself out.

I've been looking at Jeeps in general more and more, as of late. We have 2 FWD cars and a 4cyl 2WD Tacoma that can barely get out of it's own way (I still love it though). The Saturn has about 210K miles on it and can't be much longer for this world...so a project Jeep of some sort may be the answer in the future.

I drove from Lansing to Grand Rapids last night at 11pm. In my RSX with all-seasons. It sucked. Driving to work this morning was fine though.

Me and my GF drove from Grand Rapids to the Brighton area yesterday. 96 was a shit show. We drove her Forester with snow tires though. That thing is a beast.

I can't imagine going in that deep of snow with an RSx, let alone on all seasons.

Basically you just can't stop for anything or else you'll be stuck haha
